Simple tips to live fit and healthy

  • Stay Hydrated 

Start your day with a glass of water. Aim to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water per day. Hydration keeps your blood pressure in check and supplies enough oxygen to blood cells. Drinking water prevents constipation and enhances glow in skin.

  • Get adequate Sleep

Give proper rest to your body. Sleeping improves your concentration and increases your productivity. Taking a short nap in afternoon can increase your energy levels for the rest of your day. Most people tend to feel fresh after 7-9 hours of sleep at night.

  • Eat fresh seasonal fruits and  green leafy vegetables

Fruits and vegetables are loaded with antioxidants, fiber and minerals which can improve your health and manages weight gain. Don’t skip your meals and try to maintain your food portion size.  Limit the intake of junk food.

  • Exercise and Go Out to get some fresh Air

Practice to go out for at least 30 minutes a day so that you get enough Vitamin-D. Exercising improves your physical and mental health. Don’t sit for too long and try to walk in between your work.

  • Limit sugar and caffeine intake

Sugary drinks increase the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart diseases. Consuming 2-3 cups of coffee per day is good for your health as coffee is rich in many antioxidants. Excessive intake of coffee causes insomnia and dehydration.
