Warriors overcome a rout, defeating the Bucks

With a balanced scoring onslaught spearheaded by 29 points from Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-90 on Wednesday night in San Francisco, bouncing back from a crushing defeat in Boston.
In a five-second highlight reel, rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis of Golden State put an end to a Milwaukee comeback by blocking two shots from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In addition to four blocks, Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points and Jackson-Davis added 15, helping the Warriors, who were last seen being thrashed 140-88 by the Celtics on Sunday.
Three days later, Golden State scored 78 points in only the first half and extended their advantage to 22 points. The Bucks, looking for their eighth consecutive victory, then gave the Warriors a little fright when they closed the gap to 83-77 just after the third quarter was underway.
After Jackson-Davis stopped the insurrection with a layup, Curry hit one free throw, and then Jackson-Davis twice turned down Antetokounmpo at the charity stripe.
After Chris Paul collected the second block, he feed Curry, who then hit Jackson-Davis for an electrifying alley-oop dunk that sent the fans in a frenzy and led the Warriors to their 12th victory in their previous 15 games.
After maintaining an 11-point lead at the conclusion of the first quarter, Golden State scored baskets from four different players, including a 3-pointer from Brandin Podziemski, to lead 102-81 in the third minute of the second half.
Curry’s 6-for-10 shooting from outside the 3-point line accounted for the bulk of his points. With two more three-pointers each from Paul, Kuminga, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, the Warriors grew to a 57-33 lead. Out of 38 tries, Golden State made half of them.
Thompson scored 10 points off the bench, while Green ended with 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists. With eight rebounds, Curry emerged as the game’s top rebounder, while Paul added a game-high nine assists to go along with his six points and three steals.
With Achilles discomfort keeping him out of Monday’s home victory against the Los Angeles Clippers, Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 23 points in his comeback to the game. Along with leading the team in rebounding (seven), he also shared the team lead in assists (six), with Damian Lillard.
After finishing with 20 points each, Lillard and Bobby Portis led Milwaukee, who shot just 38.2 percent and was outrebounded 50–36.
