Vanessa Hudgens is expecting a child.
The former cast member of “High Musical Musical” made her pregnancy announcement public when she appeared on the Oscars red carpet sporting a noticeable baby bulge.
Wearing a black outfit with long sleeves, Hudgens debuted her pregnancy. With her hair partly back, the celebrity on the red carpet blew kisses to the paparazzi. The actor and singer was also wearing a gorgeous necklace, rings, and earrings made of glittering diamonds.
This will be her first kid with baseball star Cole Tucker, her spouse.
Alongside Julianne Hough, the “Spring Breakers” star co-hosts the official Academy pre-show.
Hudgens criticized the pregnancy rumors that surfaced in October on Wednesday. In the March 6 edition of the She Pivots podcast, she said, “I literally just had a run-in with the public taking control over their opinion of me in a way that was disrespectful.” “I uploaded a video of myself from my October bachelorette party, and all these comments are like, ‘Oh my god, you’re pregnant.’”
“I’m sorry I don’t wear Spanx every day and am a real woman and have a real body,” she said, labeling the comments as “so rude.”
Hudgens and Tucker dated for over three years before getting married in a small ceremony in Mexico in December.
Regarding rumors of pregnancy, Hudgens advised people to be “more mindful” and to “don’t make assumptions in all aspects of life, but especially over the bodies of other women.”
