Early in the second half, Ben Davies made it 2-2, but with less than 15 minutes remaining, Rodrigo made it 3-2. However, Rodrigo Bentancur scored twice in the next two minutes to change the score to 4-3 and excite the Tottenham supporters. Tyler Adams received two yellow cards and was eventually dismissed.
Spurs remain in the top four heading into the World Cup break with 29 points from 15 games after the victory. Leeds loses for the first time in three games and is two points above the danger zone.
