Tory Lanez, the 31-year-old Canadian rapper, has a fresh mugshot after being transported to a state jail. This is where the rapper, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, will spend the rest of his term in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Tory seems lifeless and solemn in the latest mugshot, which was released five days after he was refused bail. He is now incarcerated in North Kern State Prison in Delano, California.
According to TMZ, the jail contains roughly 4,000 convicts, many of whom were killed only this year. Ramon Escober, a serial murderer, was accused in February with the murder of his cellmate Juan Villanueva. Juan was imprisoned for serious sexual assault on a kid. Ricardo Saldivar, 25, was also discovered dead in his cell, and his death is being investigated as a murder by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Despite the fact that the jail has an electric fence surrounding the perimeter, several convicts have escaped throughout the years, according to sources.

Before the session, Megan and Tory appeared together on TikTok and Instagram. The two attended a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills house in July 2020. They were apparently travelling in an SUV with Kelsey Harris, Megan’s longtime friend, after leaving the party late at night.
According to prosecutors, Megan and Tory got into a heated altercation when Megan criticised Tory’s rap abilities. When Tory reportedly shot at her foot, she requested to be allowed out of the vehicle.
Tory pleaded with the court not to imprison him before his sentence last month. “We both lost our mothers,” he said. “We’d sit there and drink until we were numb……”
“Everyone was intoxicated that night, and I said some extremely immature things…I was mistaken. If I could go back in time, I would….”Please accept my apologies,” he said. “There have been some misunderstandings about me being this monster with no remorse. But it is just not the case. I accept full responsibility for all I did that night. I beg you to give me the opportunity to be a better parent and mentor. I’m asking you not to judge me just on one situation, but rather on the whole of my life. I definitely suffer from a habitual problem, and I want to be a better person.”
