Tori Kelly was hospitalised for blood clots in her legs and lungs, according to reports.

According to TMZ, Tori Kelly has been hospitalised and is receiving treatment for serious blood clots.

According to the tabloid, the 30-year-old Grammy winner was out to dinner with pals in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night when she passed out after complaining that her heart was racing too fast. She was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, where she is being treated in the intensive care unit.

Doctors detected blood clots in Kelly’s lungs and legs and are investigating if there are any clots near her heart, according to TMZ. Kelly’s representatives have been contacted by Billboard for confirmation and more information.

Kelly, who is handled by SB Projects, just signed with Epic Records. In March, the singer-songwriter released her debut track with the label, “Missin U,” along with a music video inspired by the year 2000. Kelly’s first new music since 2019’s Inspired by True Events and 2020’s A Tori Kelly Christmas is “Fill Me In,” which borrows Craig David’s 2000 track. She won best gospel album and best gospel performance/song at the Grammys in 2019 for her second album Hiding Place and “Never Alone.”

Following the release of “Missin U,” Kelly told People that she can’t wait to go back on the road. “I was actually on a world tour at the time of COVID, and having to cancel that was heartbreaking,” she said. “I haven’t been able to tour since then.” One of the most exciting things I’m looking forward to is this. I can’t say anything more yet, but I can’t wait to meet my fans again and yell out these songs with them.”
