In her most recent Instagram image, Oprah displayed her traditional style and dazzling heels. Gloria Williams, the creator of Foot Nanny and a personal friend of the Emmy Award-winning talk show host, just opened her own foot spa on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. “I’m extremely proud of Gloria, also known as @footnanny, who began providing me with pedicures (and happy feet) in Chicago 20 years ago. In order to create her own company from scratch, she moved to California and is currently opening a foot spa on upscale Rodeo Drive. The chair is now available to all of you since I was the first to occupy it. Congratulations, sis! I applaud your foresight and tenacity,” Winfrey remarked beneath the picture.
While posing with Williams, Winfrey looked stylish. The benefactor donned a button-down shirt in a dark gray color. The top had a crisp collar, sewn lining, and front pockets. She tucked it into a pair of high-waisted, belted pants.
The Tony Award winner accessorized with a pair of dramatic drop earrings and tinted circular sunglasses to further enhance the occasion. Winfrey kept her look soft and natural with a glossy neutral pout while pulling her hair back into a low ponytail.
As for the footwear, the author of “What I Know For Sure” finished it off with a pair of silver metallic flats. The silhouette included a high counter and a triangular pointed toe for further support. The 1950s saw the introduction of ballet flats as a popular women’s shoe type since they offered a comfortable alternative to both heels and sneakers. The stylish and practical feminine-meets-functional shoes are back and better than ever. Although it has remained in vogue over the years due to its adaptability, the design was particularly well-liked in the noughties.
