The Dallas Stars officially launched their Future Stars initiative.

For an extended period, the Dallas Stars have expressed their desire for their team to embody inclusivity, particularly via their community outreach initiatives. They took a step closer to that Tuesday.
After a Stars pep rally and a chance for Boys and Girls Club members to play ball hockey with Stars alumni, the newly renovated gym at Cedar Springs Boys & Girls Club was officially opened.

According to the squad, the makeover includes new ball hockey equipment, a modern scoreboard, colourful decorations, and fresh paint. The Dallas Stars started the project as a part of their Future Stars programme, an endeavour that collaborates with local schools and Boys & Girls Clubs to bring hockey to communities around the Metroplex.
We’re always thinking of new methods to get youngsters interested in the game. Vice President of Cultural Growth and Strategy for the Dallas Stars Al Montoya said, “It’s about being inclusive and making the game available for so many.”
Along with this, they are trying to get the game into more areas in Mexico; their most recent initiative targets underrepresented groups both domestically and globally.
All of this is possible in part because of a partnership with the National Hockey League that aims to teach hockey to as many students as possible.
“We are extremely thrilled to introduce street hockey to our Club kids, as many of them might not have known about the sport without this initiative,” BGCD Athletics Director DeRon Bethea stated. “Partnering with the Dallas Stars is an incredible honour, and we hope to expand the programme to many more of our Clubs.”
The Stars expressed their excitement about providing hockey to the children of our Club, emphasising the value of sports in teaching life qualities like discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
