On September 7th Apple announced the release of the new iPhone 14 and the various models that it will be available in. The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
All models can be pre-ordered on the Apple website iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max being made available on the 16th of September the iPhone 14 Plus on the 7th of October.
Surprisingly the prices have not been hiked up unlike the speculation that was doing the rounds before the release.
The main new additions to the iPhone 14 variants is the Emergency SOS via satellite which is available for the US and Canada users for now. With this feature you can send an Emergency SOS when you have no cellular network or Wifi available. You must be outdoors and will have to point towards a satellite in the sky and the message will be transmitted. This is great feature for people who go hiking or who go out to remote areas or in the wilderness.
