When Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, came for training camp on Tuesday, his new blonde hairstyle was the topic of the internet, much like everything about him.
Images of Burrow’s makeover spread swiftly on social media and the internet. Darnell Bonner of Nell’s Barbershop in Florence, the guy behind Burrow’s new appearance, said that during a prior haircut, his most famous client mentioned the idea.
Bonner said, “He sprung it up on me one day.” “Listen, I’m down; if you’re ready, we can do it.”
According to Bonner, his clients see their hair as a reflection of who they are.
According to Bonner, “hair is definitely an extension of who you are.” It’s almost like a representation of the picture you want to project. He’s shown with him that you never know what will happen next.
Burrow has initiated trends, even if he doesn’t follow them.
Bonner predicted, “The Burrow bleached buzz cut is going to flood us.” “It will now be the Burrow bleached buzz, not simply the bleached buzz. I think there will be a significant surge in that, so we will need to make some adjustments to our books to accommodate the excess. It will come, I’m certain.
Anyone considering the Burrow look, according to Bonner, has to know how to style it.
Bonner said, “You got to rock it.” “Whatever you do, you have to rock it with confidence. Everybody is trying something new in this day and age. Everyone is engaged in something so unique and customized. So just have fun. Take ownership of it.
Bonner started cutting hair at an early age, driven by what he describes as a need.
“My stepfather was white,” Bonner said. I had to learn how to cut my own hair because he kept giving me the white man’s cut and all of my black friends would make fun of me. Before I knew it, I was in love with it. “Hey, can you cut me up before school?” was the question all of my pals were asking. Would you just chop me up before we leave?
