Taylor Swift Attends Chiefs-Broncos Game to Support Travis Kelce, One Day After Her ‘Eras Tour’ Debut

Taylor Swift has returned to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ NFL game against the Denver Broncos, only one day after the Los Angeles premiere of her “Eras Tour” film.

Swift has now been at three of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s past four games, providing the NFL a big bump in ratings and generating a media obsession, with color commentators even chiming in on the trend during the game.

Swift got to the game at 6:30 p.m. local time, roughly 45 minutes before start. She promptly made her way to a premium suite at Arrowhead Stadium’s GEHA Field, escorted by Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.

Swift’s entrance during the pregame was originally downplayed by Thursday Night Football, which said that the performer had arrived “in the building” without displaying her on the broadcast. A few minutes later, a small film of her settling in the room was shown on Prime Video. Following that was a pre-recorded interview with Kelce, with the tight end commenting on his connection with Swift.

Swift was dressed in a Chiefs jacket from Erin Andrews’ WEAR collection. Andrews recently told Variety that she gave Swift several of her line’s goods in the hopes that she will wear one in the future.

Hugh Jackman, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds were among those who joined her in the stands during the Chiefs-Jets game two weeks ago. On that day, around 27 million people tuned in to NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Furthermore, Kelce’s jersey sales have soared by 400% since Swift’s debut in the NFL.

Swift’s football craze started in Week 3 of the NFL season, when the Chiefs defeated the Chicago Bears, and the buzz around her participation at Chiefs games hasn’t died down as we enter Week 5.

Swift’s tremendous popularity was quickly seized on by the NFL, which posted about her on its social media channels and regularly showed her on camera during broadcasts.

Other brands are following suit. When a picture of Swift at a game with the caption “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch” went viral, Heinz released a limited edition “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch” condiment mix. In celebration of the photograph, the Empire State Building likewise changed its colors to red and white.

On Wednesday night, the singer attended the debut of her concert film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” in Los Angeles’ AMC Grove theater, with other celebrities such as Beyoncé and Adam Sandler. Swift said to an audience of “hand-selected” followers and supporters before the film’s screening, “I’ve always had fun doing this.” I can’t believe I get to play music as a job – that’s incredible. I’ve never had so much fun in my life as on the ‘Eras Tour.’ It is by far the most electrifying event of my life.”

“I think the fans will see — and the dancers, you’ll all see — how much you are main characters in this film,” she ended. And I adore you to pieces. I appreciate your presence since this night is a cherished memory for me, and you are a part of it. And you choose to spend your evening with us here. So I really hope you have a good time. “I hope you enjoy it a lot.”
