Shakira announces a late 2024 tour and joins Bizarrap for a surprise Coachella performance.

The first weekend of Coachella has been full of surprises, and Friday night’s energetic DJ performance by Bizarrap was no exception. Shakira even joined in, revealing that she will be collaborating with the artist later this year.
The songs “La Fuerte” and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53” were performed by the duo.

About thirty minutes into Bizarrap’s performance, Shakira unexpectedly made her appearance behind him on an elevated stage. She was sporting a blazing red-orange attire and enormous aviator sunglasses. As she sang, the platform descended progressively, and she cheerfully worked the front of the stage, even going as far as to wave to supporters before joining him behind the decks.
The music briefly stopped as she addressed the crowd in both Spanish and English, announcing their upcoming tour and explaining the significance of the statement she had hinted at earlier in the day, “La loba se viene” (the wolf is coming). As she launched the tour, the message on the screen above the stage read “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour,” which corresponded to the title of her new album, her first since 2017. It has pop singles with Cardi B, Rauw Alejandro, Tiesto, and other artists.
“We’re finally going on tour, and it starts here in November,” she said. “Beginning in this city, this November! I’m eager!
According to reports from earlier this year, Shakira’s management made a strong push to be the festival’s main act this year, but their request was turned down. Shakira and the festival were not at all at odds, as seen by her participation during Biza’s set, a high-energy performance that saw the Colombian singer soar. With the publication of “Vol. 53,” or the 53rd song in the Argentinian star’s YouTube series “BZRP Music Sessions,” Biza and Shakira created a lot of buzz. They have both on “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and the Latin Grammys.
Coachella will go on until Friday night, when headliner Lana Del Rey will give a farewell performance. Tyler, the Creator is the Saturday night headliner, while Doja Cat will play a last closing concert on Sunday to round out the weekend.
