Shakira is apparently unconcerned about her 13-year age gap with NBA star Jimmy Butler, despite their rumoured relationship.
Just days after they were photographed leaving Novikov Restaurant & Bar in London together, a source said that ‘Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels good spending time with him.’
‘They’ve gone out a few times, but things are still very fresh, and it’s too early to say whether there’s long-term promise there,’ the insider said. ‘Jimmy makes Shakira happy, and she enjoys spending time with him.’
The two have only known one other for a short time and have just lately begun following each other on social media.’
Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven, the singer’s boys with ex Gerard Piqué, have been ‘longtime followers of the sportsman,’ according to the site.
Following her separation from Piqué after 11 years together, the pair’s pleasant internet exchanges, including Shakira uploading a video of herself cheering for his team, the Miami Heat, and his ‘liking’ a video of her singing, made headlines.
On Wednesday, the celebrity and basketball player, both 33, tried to keep under the radar by arriving separately, but only’minutes apart’ soon after 10 p.m.
Sparks must have flowed between the two as they lingered inside the celebrity hotspot until 1:30 a.m. before departing for their individual automobiles.
According to an eyewitness, his security entourage assisted Shakira’s ‘chauffeur driven vehicle out the fire escape of the restaurant.’
As they ordered sushi and beverages, the insider observed that they seemed ‘cosy’ inside the restaurant.
The mother-of-two donned a denim jumpsuit, pink lipstick, and her golden hair done in her signature, voluminous curls for her evening out.
Butler wore a black t-shirt, velour trousers and a clean pair of white trainers.
He finished off his laid-back look with a gold watch and a red bandana.
In June, the Colombian singer attended the 2023 NBA Finals at the Kaseya Centre in Miami, when his team, the Miami Heat, faced the Denver Nuggets.
Both started following one other on Instagram after attending one of his games.
She presently follows 159 individuals on the social networking site, whilst he follows 481 persons.
Since her breakup from longtime lover Gerard Piqué, Shakira has been romantically connected to Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton.

But, according to the Mirror, Tom, 60, had his ‘pride bruised’ when Shakira reportedly rejected his efforts to travel the world with ‘friend’ Lewis.
According to a source, the Top Gun actor felt he and the singer ‘had tremendous connection and took it as a slam dunk they’d be dating in no time’.
‘It was a massive damage to Tom’s ego, it wounded all the more since he considers Lewis a pal,’ another insider told Radar Online.
According to Us Weekly, the singer finds the speculations “hilarious,” and despite having a “fun” time with Tom at the Formula One Grand Prix in Miami, she has no intentions to pursue things further.
When the two was seen together at the athletic event, the gossip mill went into overdrive, with insiders stating that the A-list actor ‘is really interested in pursuing’ Shakira.
According to a source, ‘Shakira had a terrific time hanging out with Tom at F1, but she has no interest in dating him.’
They went on to say that the singer is presently single after her 11-year romance with Pique ended in June 2022.
‘Tom was incredibly kind, and she liked his company, but she isn’t interested in dating him or anybody else right now,’ the source stated.
