Results of the Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo weigh-in, including the most recent information on each fighter’s weight, reach, and height

At UFC 288 on May 6, Aljamain Sterling will defend the UFC bantamweight championship against Henry Cejudo, a former champion, eager to disprove his detractors once again. Cejudo makes his first appearance in the octagon since 2020.

Inside the Prudential Centre in New Jersey, UFC 288 will be broadcast on ESPN+ PPV in the United States.

Since he trains with the renowned Serra-Longo bout Team, Sterling, a native of New York, won’t have a particularly difficult travel while preparing for this bout. The 33-year-old is on an eight-fight winning run and has successfully defended the bantamweight title twice. In two rounds, “Funk Master” thinks he can knock Cejudo out and send him back into retirement.

Cejudo, a former flyweight and bantamweight champion of the UFC, finished his first MMA career on a six-fight winning streak. After his previous match against Dominick Cruz, “Triple C” has maintained his fitness for the last three years. His squad thinks he’s prepared to defeat Sterling’s wrestler.

“We’re talking about it because we know [Aljamain Sterling] likes a body triangle… Santino DeFranco, Cejudo’s head coach, made the comments on his fighter’s YouTube channel via Sportskeeda. “And just making sure he’s sharp in all the positions that he doesn’t always find himself in because we want him to be confident enough to grow and be offensive instead of taking a defensive approach to the fight,” DeFranco continued.

What type of condition will Henry Cejudo be in on fight night after all this time? Results from the UFC 288 weigh-ins will be published by The Sporting News. Follow along as each boxer tries to reach their weight goal.
