Massachusetts Business Magazine At an all-employee meeting held simultaneously in Vermont and Texas on Thursday, National Life Group Chairman, CEO, and President Mehran Assadi unveiled the company’s first national sponsorship, the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars.
With the start of the 2023 season, the sponsorship unites National Life and the Stars in marketing and programming over a four-year period. National Life, which was established in 1848, will celebrate its 175th anniversary in 2023, and this sponsorship is just one of the numerous ways the jointly owned business will recognise the occasion during the year.
The Dallas Stars’ commitment to helping the community via initiatives in education, health, and wellness clearly complements National Life’s motto of “Do good, Be good, and Make good.”
“I am thrilled to align our brand with the Dallas Stars as National Life continues to grow, and in recognition of doing good since 1848,” Assadi said. “The Stars is a nationwide hockey initiative that uses sport to empower kids and strengthen communities. In our joint endeavour to give back to our communities, our shared interests will make for a strong collaboration.
Dallas Stars President/CEO Brad Alberts commented, “We’re proud to partner with National Life Group as their first national sponsorship.” “We’re looking forward to a great partnership with National Life Group starting in the 2023–24 season with similar commitment and dedication to giving back to the community.”
