McDonald's Halloween buckets

The Happy Meal buckets from McDonald’s that celebrate Halloween have returned.

The Boo Buckets have been resurrected.

On Tuesday, the Halloween Happy Meal pails that have been sold by McDonald’s for the past six years were made available once again in the restaurants.

Fans refer to the container as a “Boo Bucket,” and it made its first appearance in 1986 but has been out of production for the past few years. The meals are served in the bucket.

McBoo, McPunk’n, and McGoblin are the names of the three distinct pail kinds, each of which depicts a different kooky and nefarious character. The buckets, which may also be used as a trick-or-treat pail for children, will be made available at participating McDonald’s restaurants from October 18 until October 31, or until supplies run out, whichever comes first.

According to a statement released by McDonald’s, the Halloween pails are packaged with skeleton stickers so that customers can decorate their pails with eerie designs of their own choosing.

There is more than one fast food restaurant that is attempting to get customers into the Halloween spirit besides McDonald’s. For a limited time only, Burger King is offering a Ghost Pepper Whopper as part of its menu selections. The burger is topped with ghost pepper cheese, ghost pepper queso, ghost pepper bacon, crispy jalapenos, and a toasted orange and black sesame seed bun. And Chipotle is bringing back its Halloween “Boorito” deal for the first time in restaurants since 2019, offering customers $6 entrees if they show up in costume after 3 p.m. local time on October 31. This is the first time the offer has been available since 2019.

McDonald’s just just introduced their adult Happy Meals, which swiftly sold out at a number of their locations after being made available.

The adult version of the Happy Meal includes a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, french fries, a drink, and a toy (yes, a toy), just like the nostalgic package that you remember from your childhood. Figurines of McDonald’s characters such as Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie, as well as a brand-new mascot known as “Cactus Buddy,” are among the items available for purchase for older children and adults.
