Mariah Carey spreads holiday cheer at the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The person known as the “Queen of Christmas” will be attending Thanksgiving as well.

At the end of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Thursday, Mariah Carey ushered in the Christmas spirit with a performance of “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Her dress was definitely appropriate for the occasion, since it was holiday-themed.

The singer, who is 52 years old, appeared at the event in a brilliant red tulle gown designed by Cristian Siriano, which had a dramatic mermaid form and a pencil skirt.

She completed the ensemble with a glittering tiara and an umbrella that was beaded and rhinestone-studded.

Fans were raving about how extravagant Carey’s outfit was for the performance, which marked the beginning of the Christmas season in a formal way.

One person wrote, “OMG she looks soooooo stunning (and festive!) during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.” Another person commented, “She looks sooooooo merry!”

Another person said, “I don’t want to offend you, but she stole Santa’s moment.”

During the performance, Carey was joined onstage by her twins Moroccan and Monroe, who are 11 years old and whom she shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. Carey was surrounded by dancers who were costumed as nutcrackers. While Monroe was dressed like a beautiful angel, her brother matched the dancers’ attire.

Despite the fact that she absolutely stole the event, Carey was recently disqualified from holding the title of “Queen of Christmas” after her attempt to register the moniker as a trademark was unsuccessful.

Mimi is now offering Christmas bath and body goods that anybody would like to discover in their stockings. Despite this, fans should anticipate great things from Mimi over the next month since she is selling these items.

Keltie Knight and Kevin Frazier served as hosts for the coverage of the parade that was broadcast on CBS. Other celebrities that appeared at the event and performed were Lea Michele, Dionne Warwick, Ziggy Marley, and others.

While everything was going on, the coverage coming from the “Today” programme was without one of its seasoned hosts. Due to the continuous struggles he is having with his health, Al Roker was conspicuously missing from Thursday’s celebrations for the first time in 27 years.
