Luke Combs’ 25 New Growin’ Up and Getting Old Tour Dates Include Beaver Stadium

As part of the 25 recently announced tour dates, two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs will bring his Growin’ Up and Getting Old Tour to legendary Beaver Stadium on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker, and Colby Acuff will be joining Combs for the Beaver Stadium show.

“We are thrilled to have Luke Combs make the iconic Beaver Stadium part of his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour in 2024,” stated Penn State Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft. “Not only is this a fantastic way to promote our stadium, but it will also have an economic impact on our community and local businesses.” We believe that with this one-of-a-kind chance and Luke’s only performance in the state of Pennsylvania in 2024, his fans will flock to make this one of the largest events in the country! In addition to providing the best game day experience in college football, we hope that this is the first of many concerts and other important events held at the legendary Beaver Stadium in the future years.”

Tickets for the “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” will go on sale for a pre-sale on Wednesday, August 23 at 4 p.m., followed by a public on-sale on Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m. The Bootleggers, Combs’ official fan club, will once again get first access to tickets via a fan pre-sale beginning Wednesday, August 23 at 10 a.m. Citi is the official credit card of the “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.” As a result, Citi cardholders will have access to pre-sale tickets through Citi Entertainment beginning Thursday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Complete information is available at www.citientertainment.com.

T-Mobile also returns as the tour’s official cellular partner, providing T-Mobile subscribers with unique access to priority tickets at all U.S. tour stops, including sold-out events. Customers may purchase Reserved Tickets at first-day pricing beginning 30 days before each event, just another way the Un-carrier honours its customers for just being customers. Visit t-mobile.com/music for more details.

The 2024 concerts follow Combs’ enormous World Tour, which concludes this autumn with sold-out gigs in Australia and Europe. The tour is the biggest ever for a country singer, with 44 gigs over three continents and sixteen countries, and it has shattered records all over the world.

The victorious year continues for Combs, whose new rendition of Tracy Chapman’s Grammy-winning song, “Fast Car,” has spent five weeks at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay list. Another unprecedented achievement for Combs is his 16th straight #1 hit in country radio. The song has also just been certified 2x Platinum, with over 435 million worldwide streams, and is presently number one on the Hot AC chart and number two on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 list. “Fast Car” is the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both the Hot AC and Country Airplay charts.

Additionally, Combs recently received 22 new RIAA certifications, including for his albums This One’s For You (6x platinum), What You See Is What You Get (4x platinum), Growin’ Up (Platinum), and Gettin’ Old (Gold), as well as for his songs “Hurricane” (9x platinum), “When It Rains It Pours” (9x platinum), “She Got The Best Of Me” (7x platinum), “Beer Never Broke My Heart” (6x platinum

Combs is presently enjoying the arrival of his new album, Gettin’ Old, which is the follow-up to his critically praised 2022 record, Growin’ Up, which was released earlier this spring on River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (stream/purchase here). The New York Times praises the album as “…grounded in country, complete with fiddle fills, but it’s also pointed towards a wide pop audience,” while Billboard calls it “his electrifying-yet-earthy voice soundtracking this time in his life as a husband, father, and entertainer at the top of his game,” and American Songwriter says, “He’s a rock star at this point.” Gettin’ Old is Combs’ fourth full-length album, after Growin’ Up, What You See Is What You Get, and This One’s For You. It was produced by Combs, Chip Matthews, and Jonathan Singleton.

Combs, a Grand Ole Opry member and eight-time CMA, three-time ACM, and three-time Billboard Music Award winner, has also collaborated with Opry Entertainment Group to create a vast multi-level entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, which is set to open in summer 2024.

Penn State Football’s home stadium, Beaver Stadium, is one of the best in the country. The second-largest stadium in the nation, with a capacity of 106,572, hosts the “Greatest Show in College Sports” each year in the Penn State White Out. This is Beaver Stadium’s second concert, with the first taking place in 2017.
