Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time, and where to watch Monastir versus Al-Nassr

Following a disheartening goalless draw with Al-Shabab, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will be seeking for their first victory of the Arab Champions League when they face Tunisian team US Monastir on Monday at the King Fahd Stadium.

The latest Tunisian championship ended just a few weeks ago, and Monastir played well, leading Group B in the regular round. Despite this, they finished fourth in the championship round, eight points behind winners Etoile Sahel.

In their maiden Arab Club Champions Cup game, they were thrashed 4-0 by Zamalek. The Egyptian squad dominated from the outset, so it’s no surprise that Monastir is the underdog in this game.

In their group opener, the Knights of Najd were held to a 0-0 tie by Al-Shabab. In the second half, head coach Luis Castro brought his top attackers, Ronaldo and Talisca, but neither were able to change the tide, and Al-Nassr settled for a point.

The draw followed an unsatisfactory pre-season campaign in which Al Nassr won just twice in six games. Those victories came against Alverca and Farense in their first two friendlies, but they were thrashed by Celta Vigo (5-0) and Benfica (4-1) in their following two, despite holding PSG and Inter Milan to 0-0 and 1-1 draws, respectively.

Because the last group game will be against Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek, the outcome of this game will be critical to Al-Nassr’s passage to the next stage of the Champions League.
