We are submitting to this Game of Thrones nuptials.
On October 6, Lena Headey and Marc Menchaca exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Italy. On October 8, Headey’s friend and yoga instructor Tania Brown posted a number of pictures from the event to Instagram. One of the pictures showed Headey, 49, poking her tongue out at the camera while donning a white gown with a veil and roses in her hair.
Headey’s former Game of Thrones co-stars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Michelle Fairley, and Conleth Hill were all present, making it a complete cast reunion. Brown shared a carousel of images, one of which showed Dinklage kissing another visitor on the cheek.
“Sky is aflame. full of hearts. It has been the most lovely few days EVER, no filters necessary, “Brown wrote the post’s caption. “Joy and laughter were fueled by @iamlenaheadey’s insanely kind and lovely LOVE. I’m grateful.”
The event was also documented by hairstylist Charley McEwen, who shared a group snapshot of Turner and her husband Joe Jonas. The image’s caption said “Puglia Party People.”
Some of Headey’s previous co-stars, including Dinklage, Michelle, and Conleth, had another mini-reunion before her wedding. On October 7, the restaurant Scinuà shared a photo of the group having dinner with the comment “Winter is approaching.”
The Dark Crystal actress Headey, 47, and the Ozark actor, with whom she shares son Wyatt Loughran, 12, got together in 2020. Headey was previously married to musician Peter Loughran for five years before filing for divorce in 2012.
The newlyweds haven’t yet shared any pictures from their weekend together, but E! has contacted the couple’s representatives for a response.
Photographs shared online showed the bride dressed in a sleeveless halter neck gown featuring a plunging neckline and backless design.
