Leeds vs Bournemouth – FINAL SCORE: 4-3

How did we assess the performances? On Saturday, Premier League visitors Bournemouth were defeated by Leeds United in an exciting 4-3 game.

Rodrigo’s penalty kick gave Leeds the lead in the third minute after Summerville had won it, but poor Bournemouth defence allowed Marcus Tavernier to score just four minutes later to tie the score. The Cherries took the lead in the 19th minute thanks to further sloppy defending, and three minutes into the second half, Dominic Solanke scored on a counter from a Leeds corner to give Bournemouth a 3-0 lead.

However, Leeds scored again just after the hour mark thanks to a spectacular goal from replacement Sam Greenwood, who also provided the assist for the equalizer when captain Liam Cooper headed in his corner in the 68th. Amazingly, the Whites then took the lead in the 84th minute thanks to outstanding performance from another replacement, Willy Gnonto. On his 19th birthday, Gnonto sprinted down the middle of the field before playing in Summerville, who scored to throw Elland Road into a frenzy.
