Kim Mathers, Eminem’s ex-wife, got a $615k loan from the rapper’s firm for a new residence before the mansion sale.

After years of ups and downs, the rap artist and his ex-wife, 48, are on “good terms” and will reconnect for daughter Hailie Jade’s impending wedding.

Property records show how friendly the ex-couple is, as Kim seems to have borrowed money to buy a modest house in Macomb, Michigan.

The mother of four secretly downsized to a $530,000 four-bedroom, three-bath house with 10ft ceilings, a 730-square-foot garage, and walk-in closets in December.

According to the website description, “Enjoy the private backyard setting from your covered lanai or, better yet, from the comfort of your hammock under the custom pergola while enjoying the warmth of a fire during cool fall nights.”

According to the documents, the house was purchased with a substantial loan of $615,000 from Shady Games, Inc., with Marshall Mathers named as the president, treasurer, and secretary.

The mother-of-four resided in a custom-built house apparently paid for by the singer for many years, where she reared their three children and Parker from a later relationship.

She ultimately sold the massive property, which stood on a secluded three-acre site and provided 12,000 square feet of living space, for $1,350,000 in March of this year.

FLIGHT OF THE NEST

Kim is reported to have downsized when three of her children left home.

She adopted Aliana, 30, whose mother, Dawn Scott, Kim’s sister, died in 2016 after years of drug usage.

Kim and Eminem had a daughter together, Hailie Jade, 27, and the rapper also reared Stevie Laine, 21, from another relationship, who identifies as non-binary.

Kim, Eminem’s childhood love, now has cut blonde hair and a massive tattoo collection and has been photographed for the first time in years.

They were married from 1999 to 2001, and she brought a defamation suit against him only days after he filed for divorce due to the violent lyrics of his song Kim.

They reached an out-of-court settlement and reconciled, marrying for the second time in 2006 but divorcing a year later.

In the song Bad Husband from his 2017 album Revival, Eminem apologised for how he treated his ex.

“We brought out the worst in each other/ Someone had to make the sparring end/ ‘Cause I loved you, but I hated that me/ And I don’t wanna see that side again/ But I’m sorry, Kim/ More than you could ever comprehend.”

When asked how often she sees her famous ex, she quipped this week, “Not often, but frequently enough!”

Kim was seen with her seldom seen adolescent son Parker, who still lives with his mother, in the United States Sun.

APOLOGY OF EM

Kim moved into her new house in 2022 after a tough year, which included the loss of her loving mother Kathy Sluck, who stayed at her mansion while her health worsened.

Eminem’s ex was so upset by her death that she attempted suicide the day after the funeral and was brought to the hospital after being discovered by one of her children.

She subsequently healed at home and told The New York Times this month that she is much healthier and clean following a time in treatment late last year, after using sleeping medications.

When asked how she is today, she said, “It’s been hard, I lost my mum, dad, and sister [over the last 10 years].”

“[But] I’m OK. I’ve been sober since October, when I went to Jefferson House… for 45 days.”

She said that her children had been “very supportive,” and that she is now on medicine, but she refused to elaborate on her predicament.

Despite her previous issues with Eminem, Kim claims he has always been there for her and often calls in to see how she is doing.
