Jason Aldean's show is cut short due to heat exhaustion on stage.

Jason Aldean’s show is cut short due to heat exhaustion on stage.

A spokesman for country musician Jason Aldean stated that he would reschedule a performance that was cut short due to heatstroke on stage.

Aldean performed at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday, when the temperature hit 89 degrees.

Fans posted video of Aldean struggling to sing before going off stage at one point during the concert.

The venue stated on Sunday that the performance will be rescheduled for an unspecified date and that Aldean is doing fine.

“Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date,” Xfinity Theatre announced in a statement. “We appreciate your patience while we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of good wishes for Jason.”

“”A representative confirmed he is doing well after suffering a heat stroke during last night’s performance,” the statement said. “Please stay tuned to all social media platforms for updates as they become available.”

“Just wanted to let you know, thanks to everyone who has called and checked,” Aldean said in a video broadcast on Twitter on Sunday afternoon. “I’m doing well. It was just one of those things. It was quite hot. I had been playing golf all day yesterday and then went to the performance, and I believe it was a mix of dehydration and heat fatigue.”

While Aldean did not believe the incident was as dangerous as a heat stroke, he did describe it as “pretty intense.”
