In celebration of her 78th birthday, Dolly Parton surprised her admirers with new songs.

With the release of her deluxe album, Dolly Parton gave her admirers a musical present on Friday to celebrate her 78th birthday: new songs.

On Instagram, the legendary country music performer revealed the limited edition, writing: “Hey fans and friends, Since it’s my birthday, I’m going to gift it to you.

Along with the Rockstar album, she said, “I’m releasing four never released songs for my birthday, and a few others that you may have heard before that were not on the album.”

“I hope you all have a good birthday for me, and I hope you like them! LOL,” she went on. “I appreciate everything,”

The megastar’s first rock album, “Rockstar,” was released in November. It was her 49th solo album and included a number of songs and covers by some of the biggest names in music, like Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Sting, and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus.

The album’s deluxe edition, which has nine brand-new songs, was made available on Friday. Among them are the hits “Jolene” with Italian rock group Måneskin, “Mama Never Said,” and “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.”

Birthday greetings for the well-liked singer were abundant, including from supermodel Naomi Campbell and music legend Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.
