What You Should Understand

The American Athletic Conference playoff game between the Northwestern Wildcats and the FAU Owls is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. ET on Friday at Barclays Center. Both sides will be very motivated to win since they lost their last game.
Regretfully, FAU’s four-game winning run came to an end on Saturday. They lost 74-73 against the Owls, just missing victory. Despite having an early lead (up 12 with 7:42 remaining in the first quarter), FAU was unfortunately unable to sustain that score.
Vladislav Goldin, who scored 23 points, five rebounds, and two blocks, gave the losing team a lift. For the last three games, he has not scored less than 21 points. Johnell Davis, who scored 18 points and pulled down seven rebounds, also provided some assistance to the club.
FAU had trouble regaining possession of the ball and only managed two offensive rebounds at the end of the game. They haven’t had as few offensive rebounds as they have this season.
On Friday, Northwestern may have preferred the point spread, but it did not affect the outcome in the end. The Badgers defeated them 70–61, putting a dent on their record.
For the losing team, Boo Buie had a decent effort going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc for 29 points and 3 assists. The dreadful 0-5 three-point shooting of Brooks Barnhizer was less beneficial for Northwestern.
The Owls’ record now stands at 25-8 as a result of their loss. The Wildcats’ 21-11 record this season has taken a considerable hit as a result of their recent poor play, as they have dropped three of their past four games.
The experts predict that FAU will lose, so they’re aiming to defy the odds on Friday.
