Fulham vs Man United

Highlights from Fulham’s victory over Manchester United

At Craven Cottage on Sunday in the Premier League, Manchester United plays Fulham.

Prior to last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Aston Villa, United had gone nine games without a loss. Erik ten Hag’s team was able to exact instant compensation when they overcame Villa 4-2 in the League Cup midweek to advance to the fourth round.

The Reds now have the difficulty of playing Fulham, who are ninth in the standings, in the last matchup prior to the start of the 2022 World Cup. Regardless of what happens on Sunday, United, with 23 points, will be in fifth place going into the World Cup break.

In terms of team news, Jadon Sancho and Antony have not travelled to London with the club, while Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed the League Cup encounter against Villa, is expected to miss the game due to sickness.

Fernandes reiterates his forecast for Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho will “move directly to the top,” as predicted by Bruno Fernandes, who doubled down on the forecast.

At Craven Cottage on Sunday, Garnacho was brought on as a substitute in the 72nd minute with the score tied at 1-1 after goals from Christian Eriksen and Dan James. He then went on to score the game-winning goal.

In the final three minutes of regulation time, Garnacho surged forward, connected with Eriksen on the edge of the box, and scored a thrilling victory. The players and Erik ten Hag erupted in jubilant celebrations.
