Personally, I believe Lana Del Rey is not from this earth.
Something about her screams heavenly, from her delicate voice to her overall floating-on-air feel. Del Rey has maintained a style that sits somewhere between coquette and heavenly throughout her decade-long career. The artist even sported a genuine halo at the 2018 Grammys.
Gucci custom-crafted the headpiece, which was made out of bejewelled stars that capped her straight hair, and served as a stellar example of the flower-crown period of the 2010s. The sparkling adornment, made of crystals and silver, pushed the starlet’s already-angelic look to the next level.
Her Gucci gown was dripping with jewels, dazzling stars, and tiny beads down the front and back. The starry appearance, with just the perfect amount of retro-chic, drew homage (according to LDR fan accounts throughout Twitter) to a legendary Hedy Lamarr costume from the 1941 film “Ziegfeld Girl.”
Del Rey continued to dazzle with a dazzling ribbon necklace and gold Gucci platforms. (She, like many others that night, wore a white rose on her wrist in support of the Time’s Up campaign.)
Continuing her devotion to heaven, the singer opted for a genuinely sacred beauty look. Del Rey, never one to deviate from her distinctive look, accentuated her characteristic winged eyeliner with a hint of smokey-eye beauty. Her hair stood out for its Level-10 sheen and gloss, with each heavenly strand virtually sparkling in the sun due to Hollywood hairdresser Sheridan Ward, who chose for a mirror-esque finish on her hair.
