Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James are leading early All-Star voters.

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is dominating the Eastern Conference in early voting for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, while LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is leading the West.

Antetokounmpo has been selected an NBA All-Star seven times, compared to James’ 19 appearances.

As frontcourt players, James and Antetokounmpo deserved their votes. Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks in the West and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers in the East are the top vote-getters at guard. Next month, Haliburton will get the opportunity to play in front of his home crowd in the All-Star Game.

Just half of the data utilized to choose the starting players for the Eastern and Western Conferences will come from the fan vote. Another twenty-five percent will come from current players, while the remaining twenty-five percent will come from a panel of reporters.

Every fan vote cast on Friday will count as three votes in the NBA’s “3-for-1 Day” campaign. On January 11, the subsequent counting of fan votes will be made public.

In the Western Conference, Doncic and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors top the vote at guard, while James, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets lead the vote in the frontcourt.

In the Eastern Conference, Antetokounmpo leads at point guard while Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics lead at guard. Haliburton leads at guard.

The NBA All-Star Game in 2024 is slated to be in Indianapolis on February 18.
