Following the release of Taylor Swift’s diss track, Kim Kardashian said, “Life Is Good.”

Although Jimmy Kimmel acknowledged Taylor Swift’s record-breaking double album, The Tortured Poets Department, in his opening monologue, he did not question Kim Kardashian, Monday’s guest, about the poetry that she is supposed to have inspired for the new album.
“thanK you aIMee,” a song believed to be a diss tune directed at Kardashian, is mixed in between recordings that are purportedly about Fleetwood Mac vocalist Stevie Nicks, silent film icon Clara Bow, and frontman Matty Healy of The 1975. This is mostly due to the title’s capitalization of the word “Kim” and lyrics that seem to allude to the long-running rivalry between the two ladies.

“And maybe you’ve reframed it / And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue,” Swift says in the song. I changed your name and any really defining clues because I don’t think you’ve changed much. And one day, your kid comes home singing. A song that only the two of us will know is about you. That’s probably a reference to Kardashian’s daughter North’s 2023 TikTok, in which she can be seen dancing to Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Us Weekly claims that Kardashian has lost over 100,000 followers since the debut of the new single.
However, Kimmel and Kardashian, who both made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote American Horror Story: Delicate’s season finale, said nothing about Swift. At the beginning of her section, Kardashian said, “Life is good.” She then discussed her friendship with Donald Trump, growing up on the same street as Madonna, and her most recent Skims items. He doesn’t seem to like me all that much, listen. However, I’m ok. I’ll concentrate on his incredible work on jail reform because I believe it’s incredible. Kimmel also requested that Kardashian refute a number of unofficial online myths about her, such as the claim that she sleeps with her eyes “slightly open.” That one is accurate, as Kardashian claims.
With the latest in Swift and Kardashian’s dispute heating up in 2016 with the release of another tune, Kanye West’s “Famous,” it would not be the worst habit to cultivate to snooze with one eye open. The lyrics of the song are as follows: “I think Taylor and I could still be having sex / Why? I brought fame to that bitch. Kardashian, West’s ex-wife, shared a video online allegedly showing a conversation in which Swift authorized West to mention her by name in the song. However, it doesn’t seem like Swift was informed at the time that the song would refer to her as a “bitch.”
Swift said to Time magazine last year, “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar,” as she considered the incident’s enduring effects. That knocked me down to a level I’ve never experienced mentally. I relocated to another nation. It took me a year to move out of a rented home. I was terrified to answer the phone. I stopped trusting people, therefore I turned away the majority of the individuals in my life. I had a tremendous, extremely bad fall.
Swift admits in “thanK you aIMee” that some aspects of her life would not have been possible without the inspiration of the song, whomever they may be. She sings, “I built a legacy that you can’t undo. / I wrote a thousand songs that you find uncool.” “But there’s a moment of truth when I count the scars / That if it weren’t for you, this wouldn’t exist.”
