In a game full of drama and touchdowns, the Buffalo Bills fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 37-34 in overtime at Lincoln Financial Field.

With little over seven minutes left in the game, Josh Allen and the Bills seized control after giving away a 10-point lead at the half. In less than two minutes, they successfully reduced the time, and Allen’s short slant to Gabe Davis in the end zone gave them the lead again.

Jake Elliott’s 59-yard field goal to force OT tied the game for the Eagles after they were stopped on third-and-17 from their own 41-yard line.

After winning the toss, the ball was given to the Bills to begin the extra session. On third-and-9, Allen connected with Gabe Davis for a first down and a 13-yard gain. Two plays later, with the Bills again facing a third-and-nine, Allen scrambled for a 15-yard gain to preserve their victory.

With a 40-yard field goal from Tyler Bass, the Bills took a 34-30 lead.

Jalen Hurts rushed it in for the game-winning touchdown eight plays later.

Allen ended with 339 passing yards, 81 running yards, an interception, and two touchdowns on the ground and one passing.

A score and 105 yards were gained by Gabe Davis on six receptions a week after he had zero receptions. The Bills led by two touchdowns at the half thanks to a touchdown from Stefon Diggs, who grabbed six passes for 74 yards.

The Bills’ next opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, will come around after their bye week.
