Diamondbacks vs. Phillies live stream: TV channel, timing, odds, starting pitchers, and how to watch the NLCS online

The Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks will play Game 3 of the 2023 National League Championship Series on Thursday at Chase Field in Phoenix. Thanks to Aaron Nola’s solid start and his ongoing barrage of home runs, the Phillies won Game 2 10-0. A best-of-seven series has historically been won by teams more than 84% of the time when such teams had won the first two games of the series.

The second game between the Phillies and Diamondbacks was close until the sixth and seventh innings, when Philadelphia’s offense took control of the game. The D-backs need to forget about Game 2 in order to avoid falling down 3-0 in the series and facing elimination.

An overview

Suárez was fantastic in the NLDS, allowing only one run in 8 2/3 innings across two starts against the Atlanta Braves. Rob Thomson is expected to use his bullpen aggressively after taking the day off in an attempt to take a 3-0 lead. Despite his dismal regular-season numbers, Pfaadt gave up three runs in two starts during the playoffs in seven innings pitched. It will be his first time against the Phillies in a major league game.

Expectation

We want every series to last as long as possible. In other words, the D-backs need a victory quickly. The Phillies hold the edge on paper. Even while we acknowledge the likelihood of a Game 7 is low, we will still support Arizona.
