Today Apple will release the new OS upgrade for the iPhone. There are lot of previous iPhones models that will support this new iOS 16 upgrade. The mobile operating system comes overhauled with many new features like a new Lock Screen, widgets, customisable fonts and a new expanded view that lets you see the notifications straight from the lock screen.
These are all devices that will support iOS 16 or iPhone XS, iPhone XS max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8+, iPhone SE generation two, iPhone SE generation three and the iPhone 11 series iPhone 11, iPhone 11 pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and in the iPhone 12 series, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 series iPhone 13 iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and across all new iPhone 14 series will have the new iOS 16 preinstalled.
The older models prior to these devices listed above will not be compatible with iOS 16.
