Danny Masterson was transferred from high to low security jail due to’safety concerns’.

Danny Masterson has been transferred from Corcoran State Prison in Central California after less than a month.
For many years, the maximum-security institution was known for harboring infamous cult leader Charles Manson.

According to state records, former That ’70s Show actor Masterson, 47, has been transported to California’s Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, which is classified as medium and minimum-security.
According to Deadline, the action is motivated by worries about “the inmate’s well-being”.
Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in jail last year after being convicted of raping two women more than 20 years ago.
Masterson was granted bail awaiting appeal in January due to concerns that the convicted rapist having “every incentive to flee”.
Records reveal that the actor will be eligible for release in 2042, at the age of 66.
Manson moved from San Quentin State Prison to Corcoran in March 1989. The cultist, who was convicted of murdering seven people, was moved to another jail in 1997 when it was discovered that he was trafficking narcotics.
Following Masterson’s sentence, it was discovered that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who costarred with the actor in That ’70s Show, were among those who signed letters of support for him during his trial.
Kutcher, 45, had wrote that his co-star, with whom he previously appeared in the Netflix comedy The Ranch, was a “role model” and “a person who is consistently there for you when you need him”.
In her letter, Kunis, 40, referred to Masterson as “an amazing friend, confidant, and, above all, an outstanding older brother figure to me”.
After receiving much criticism, the couple, who married in 2015, issued a joint video apology on social media.
Bijou Phillips, who had stood at Masterson’s side throughout the court procedures, filed for divorce shortly after his imprisonment, bringing their almost 12-year marriage to an end.
They married in 2011, after first meeting at a Las Vegas poker event in 2004. Their daughter Fianna was born in 2014.
Masterson, who came to prominence as Steven Hyde in the 1990s comedy starring Kunis and Kutcher, was convicted of two counts of forced rape by a jury of seven women and five men following a week of deliberation in May last year.
On September 7, Judge Olmedo said that Mr Masterson was not the victim in this case. Your actions 20 years ago eliminated another person’s choice and voice. Your acts 20 years ago today were criminal, which is why you’re here.
