Cooper Rush was the star of the match against Giants. He lofted a perfect throw to receiver CeeDee Lamb for a one-yard touchdown. He replaced injured Prescott and proved that he is a dependable team member. Prescott is currently suffering from thumb injury and will hopefully return after a week.
Rush marked his presence in the match with his fantastic game and moves. He winded up the game 21-of-31 passing for 215 yards with one touchdown for Dallas. He completed 5 out of 6 throws for 108 yards. He was very quick in releasing balls and throwing passes.
In the first two quarters of match Cowboys have to settle twice for short field goals despite kicking the ball inside Giant’s 10-yard line. The Cowboys players executed their plan with accuracy in second half and converted both of their red zone trips. This helped them to build a lead over Giants.
CeeDee Lamb had two early drops, one in the left sideline for a potential touchdown. On Monday night after intermission Lamb grabbed a one handed catch in the corner of the end zone. It was a splendid catch of the season. He grabbed 8 catches for 87 yards.
