Claiming you have money that you do not have does not amount to the art of the deal but amounts to the art of the steal was the statement that New York States Attorney General made. She has accused Donald Trump and his family members of fraud. She also said that Trump and his companies had been engaged in years of illegal conduct. It is said that Trump would hire professionals to come and provide valuations for his properties and then they would go to the banks and inflate the value of the properties to almost double and seek loans from these banks. As the properties were valued so high, they would then ask for lower interest rates for these loans.
After the three-year investigation Attorney General Leticia James finally filed a civil lawsuit on Wednesday. Letitia also went on to say that Trump has inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to enrich himself unjustly.
Former President Donald Trump has debunked these charges and called Letitia James a fraud and said that this is just another witch hunt.
Even Eric Trump has posted on social media accusing James of being the most corrupt Attorney General in the history of the United States and that she campaigned on the promise to sue his father Donald J Trump.
