Cardi B fought back when a concertgoer tossed a drink at her while she was singing on stage.

Audience members at concerts have continued to hurl things at performers on stage in recent months, and rapper Cardi B has had enough.

On Saturday, the “WAP” rapper was performing on stage at Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas when an audience member seemed to hurl a drink at her, as shown in social media video footage.

Cardi B is seen in the video being splattered with liquid from the cup while singing her 2018 song “Bodak Yellow.” As security personnel hurried to the platform, she responded angrily by tossing her microphone into the audience.

More security personnel are then seen rushing to the individual in the audience as she watches from the stage before continuing with her performance.

Cardi B is seen tossing her microphone at a DJ who seems to have cut off her song early during a performance at Drai’s Nightclub on Friday in another video shared to TikTok on Saturday.

CNN has reached out to Cardi B’s agent for comment.

The event in Las Vegas on Saturday is only the latest in a string of similar incidents at concerts, when singers such as Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Harry Styles, and Bebe Rexha have been the target of things hurled at them while on stage, with some of them injuring themselves.

Only lately have artists, such as R&B singer Monica and country star Miranda Lambert, taken involved when they notice inappropriate behaviour.

Monica rushed off the stage last week after witnessing an alleged attack on a female audience member during her Detroit event.

When video of the brawl went viral on social media, she was commended for interfering, and she subsequently told CNN’s Abby Phillip that she believes concerts have become “a dangerous space and place.”

“I just really, really want that to change,” she continued.
