Britney Spears has alarmed fans after posting a video of herself dancing with knives on social media.
While the 41-year-old routinely shows off her abilities on Instagram, many were concerned for her safety when she posted a video of herself dancing with the blades in her house on Tuesday.
Spears was shown tapping the knives, which she later disclosed were fake, with her dogs surrounding her in the Instagram image.
The Womaniser hitmaker captioned the video, which has banned comments, “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!”
“Don’t worry, they are NOT real knives!” she subsequently added to the post. Halloween is almost approaching.”
Many of her social media admirers expressed their worry for the Toxic vocalist after seeing the photo, with one tweeting: “Ohhh Brit Brit I would have believed you if you didn’t clink them together.”
“She claims they aren’t real, but they appear and sound real to me.” “This is concerning,” wrote a second.
“Wild behaviour!” said a third. “You can almost hear the metal clinking.”
The 41-year-old singer announced her shocking divorce from Sam Asghari last month after just 14 months of marriage.
Asghari, 29, filed for divorce on August 16, alleging “irreconcilable differences” and stating that they had separated over three weeks before the filing date.
According to the divorce papers, which were filed in a Los Angeles court, the personal trainer aims to receive financial assistance from Spears and have her pay for his attorneys.
In June 2022, the pair married in a star-studded wedding at the US singer’s house in Los Angeles, attended by Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton.
It happened after the pair met on the shoot of the Slumber Party music video in 2016, and they will marry in September 2021.
Spears’ third marriage is to Asghari; she divorced Kevin Federline, with whom she had two children, Sean and Jayden, in 2007.
She previously married Jason Alexander in 2004, but the marriage was called off after just 55 hours.
