According to law enforcement officials, emergency services were called to the singer and actor’s Los Angeles home on Tuesday at noon. Brandy is anticipated to recover from the medical mishap, according to TMZ. As of Wednesday morning, she was reportedly with her parents at the hospital.

In a statement posted on social media on Wednesday, Brandy thanked her “loving fam, friends, and starz” for their well wishes. “I am getting the rest I require as per the advice of the physicians due to dehydration and inadequate nutrition. Thank you all, and I’ll see you soon.

In June 2017, the Grammy winner was admitted to the hospital after becoming ill on a Delta Air Lines aircraft out of Los Angeles International Airport. After the flight crew learned of the situation and returned to the plane at the gate, firefighters and paramedics went to the airport and took Brandy to the hospital.
