Blake Shelton is leaving ‘The Voice,’ and Niall Horan discusses working with the ‘champion’ country singer.

For country music icon Blake Shelton, it marks the end of a bittersweet chapter.
Shelton, 46, is getting ready to say goodbye to NBC’s “The Voice” after 23 seasons of participation.

First-time coach Niall Horan and past champions on Team Blake discussed the influence the “God’s Country” singer had on their lives in an interview with Fox News Digital.
Horan stated, “It was fantastic to be a part of it, even be a part of his entire final season. It was amazing to witness all of the tributes to Blake.
“I’m overjoyed for Blake. He retires as the overall champion after 23 seasons.
Tuesday was Shelton’s last concert, and former Team Blake champions got together to celebrate the country music icon one more time.
Cassadee Pope, the season 3 champion, enthused over the coach, saying “It’s so special, I mean, he changed all of our lives.”
“He’s the reason I’m here, and to simply send him out and honour him in such a large manner… It’s simply so awesome to be a part of. Just being here is an honour for me.
Danielle Bradbery, the season 4 champion of “The Voice,” and other “The Voice” alumni agreed that Shelton was a fantastic mentor and a “huge help” in their musical careers.

At age 16, Bradbery was the competition’s youngest winner in 2013.
Shelton made his exit from the well-known singing competition programme official last October.
His message on Instagram started, “I’ve been grappling with this for a long and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move away from The Voice after next season.
“This programme has completely improved my life, and it will always seem like home to me.It’s been a wild trip over the last 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, including every producer, the writers, musicians, crew, and caterers. You are the greatest, he said.
To pull together a live concert twice a week, a lot of effort, enthusiasm, and alcohol (Ha!) are required.
Shelton was on the initial “The Voice” jury with artists Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, and Adam Levine. 2011 saw the debut of the programme.
What’s next for Shelton? He has said he’s going to enjoy family life after taking a break from Hollywood, which involves spending more time with his three stepchildren, wife Gwen Stefani’s boys Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
Shelton was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 12. In his remarks, the country music artist claimed he never imagined he would be given such a significant honour and that receiving it was “never on [his] radar.”
“Never in my life could I have envisioned getting a star on the Walk of Fame. Shelton said to Fox News Digital, “I know there are other country singers who have received ’em, and they’re all country musicians who I look up to and that are bigger than life to me.
For Shelton, a door shuts, but Gina Miles, the season 23 winner of “The Voice,” sees a door open.
Tuesday, after Miles was announced the winner, she told Fox News Digital that her triumph was “just crazy” and that she was “excited to be there at all.”
