Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who won the NFC South, will face the Cowboys, who have the No. 5 seed in the NFC and are the eventual champions of the tournament.

With the Cowboys having put pressure on the Philadelphia Eagles by beating them on Christmas Eve before going on to upset the Tennessee Titans, Week 18’s result had more than one conceivable conclusion for the club.
Dallas went on a winning run of two games as a result, while Philadelphia went on a losing skid of two games as a result, preventing them from winning the NFC East or securing the top spot in the NFC.
The Cowboys needed to defeat the Commanders and hope that the Eagles lose in order to take over first place in the division. The Philadelphia Eagles needed to lose to the New York Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers needed to lose to the Arizona Cardinals for the Cowboys to secure the top seed in the conference.
Even though both the 49ers and Eagles were cruising to victories, in the end, it was not to be.
Now that their seed has been determined, the Cowboys will start preparing this week to travel to Brady at Raymond James Stadium on Super Wild Card Weekend in a rematch of the regular season opener, in which the Buccaneers defeated the Cowboys 19-3 at AT&T Stadium.
Given that Brady is 7-0 all-time versus the Cowboys, Dallas will have the chance to exorcise Brady during this game.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys defence have more than enough incentive to finally overthrow Brady since he has long held control over Dallas. To make sure that doesn’t happen in Tampa, it will first be important to examine how disorganised they were in Washington.
