Allegedly, a former NBA G League player confesses to killing a lady in Las Vegas.

According to court records released on Tuesday, a former NBA G League player reportedly confessed to strangling a lady in Las Vegas as part of a murderous scheme in which he pretended to be a prostitute’s client.

The 27-year-old Chance Comanche made an appearance in a Sacramento County, California, court and chose not to be extradited to Nevada, where he will be prosecuted for murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The six-foot-ten According to a Las Vegas police affidavit supporting the arrest, Comanche and his ex-girlfriend Sakari Harnden, 19, collaborated to choke Marayna Rodgers, 23, early on December 6, hours after the Stockton Kings played the NBA G League Ignite in Henderson, Nevada.

According to the complaint, Comanche was brought into jail in Sacramento last week and given the Miranda warning before speaking with officers from the Las Vegas police and outlining the conspiracy.

Both Harnden and the victim worked in the sex industry, and according to investigators, the former had a running feud with Rodgers over a Rolex watch.

According to the police affidavit, the plan called for Comanche to pretend to be a client who would bind Rodgers’ and Harden’s hands behind their backs in preparation for sex.

According to the court record, Comanche choked Rodgers “for approximately 10 seconds with the cord but stated he stopped when he heard Marayna struggling to breathe” after she had been restrained with a zip-tie in the back of a vehicle.

According to the affidavit, “Chance used the cord to strangle Marayna,” and Sakari choked Rodgers with both of her hands on her neck. “Chance said once he stopped strangling Marayna he released the tension in the cord, but Sakari continued choking her,” according to the affidavit.

After the victim passed away, the two located a ditch to the side of the road, where they placed Rodgers, a Seattle hospital medical assistant, and covered her corpse with rocks, according to the police.

According to authorities, who referenced hotel surveillance footage, Comanche arrived back to the M Resort Casino, where the Kings were lodging, at 6 a.m., and he and his teammates departed at 8:50 a.m.

According to authorities, Harnden was also seen on video “visibly upset” and sobbing when she left her hotel room at 10:24 a.m. On December 13, she was taken into custody.

Shortly after his arrest, Comanche, who attended the University of Arizona and Beverly Hills High School in Southern California, was cut by the Kings.

He claimed to have informed police that he used a dating app to meet his co-defendant a year and a half ago. Although their courtship lasted just a few months, they kept in contact, according to the police.

Harnden and Rodgers had a running feud because, according to investigators, Rodgers had been threatening to “smoke her” if Harnden did not give her the coveted Rolex watch that she desired.

According to authorities, Comanche had volunteered to assist Harnden in finding a buddy who could murder Rodgers. However, they “decided to carry out the murder themselves” as they “were unable to get someone to help with the murder,” according to authorities.

Michael Goldstein, the defense attorney for Comanche, said to reporters on Tuesday outside of the Sacramento courthouse, “We really have nothing to say.” We will hand it up to the legal system. The matter will be handled in Nevada.
