After Game 2 of the Nuggets vs. Lakers, there was an argument when Nikola Jokić’s brother seemed to hit a fan.

Shortly after Game 2 of the Denver Nuggets first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, Strahinja Jokić, the brother of teammate Nikola Jokić, appeared to strike a fan during an incident in the Ball Arena bleachers.
The NBA informed The Athletic that it is investigating reports of a fight between Strahinja and the spectator. Although they have not yet commented, the Nuggets are understood to be aggressively investigating the incident.

Strahinja and his brother Nemanja approach two individuals sitting a row below them in the stands in the footage that is making the rounds on social media. It seems like Strahinja struck the fan in the chin with a right-handed blow. The supporter walked for the exit after exchanging words with the other party after the punch.
According to the Denver Police Department, no one has come forward as the event’s victim as of Tuesday, and the incident was not reported to their officers at the stadium or after the game.
The agency released a statement saying, “The Department is looking into this incident, is actively working to identify the person who was struck in the video, and encourages anyone who was involved or witnessed this firsthand to contact the Denver Police Department.”
The Jokić brothers have a history of violent altercations and disputes, both in and outside of NBA venues. The NBA is aware of this, but it is unclear whether this will force the league to take action.
Sept. 26, 2019, saw the arrest of Strahinja Jokić after he was charged with two misdemeanors and second-degree assault after it was claimed that he had choked and pushed a lady during a domestic argument. In February 2020, he entered a guilty plea to two counts of misdemeanor interference of phone service and felony trespassing, as reported by the Denver Post. It was stated that the other charges were dropped.
The Jokić brothers have a history of feuding; in November 2021, they memorably got into a fight with NBA stars Marcus and Markieff Morris. In reaction to tweets from Marcus and Markieff about the incident, Nikola Jokić’s brothers issued a severe warning on social media after Markieff’s (then Miami Heat) one-game ban for pushing him.
The tweet from @JokicBrothers said, “You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother!” “First, your brother pulled a shady move. We promise to be waiting for you if you wish to go one step farther! The Jokic Brothers
A video of Strahinja yelling at Phoenix Suns players during a heated altercation with the Nuggets during the game became viral three months later.
As time ran out on Monday, Denver had just beaten the Lakers 101-99 thanks to a game-winning basket from Jamal Murray against Anthony Davis. In the end, Nikola had 20 rebounds, 10 assists, and 27 points. In the series, the Nuggets are up 2-0.
