Elton John is “in good health” after being hospitalised overnight Sunday owing to a fall at his house in the south of France, according to a spokeswoman for the singer.
According to the spokesman, John, 76, fell at home and went to a nearby hospital as a “precautionary measure.” He was released from the hospital on Monday morning and is now back at home in Nice after examinations.
According to BBC News After finishing his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour in July, John spent the summer in France. According to the publication, he is with his spouse, David Furnish, and their two boys.
His tour lasted years, commencing in September 2018 and ending in 2021 after an almost two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 epidemic and a hip injury John experienced. John told “CBS Mornings” in January last year, soon before resuming the tour, that he was looking forward to spending time with his family once it was finished.

John has already made news for health-related difficulties.
In 2012, he was admitted to a hospital in the Los Angeles region for treatment of a severe respiratory illness. He had to cancel a show in New Zealand in February 2020 after losing his voice due to walking pneumonia. He postponed his global tour in 2021 to have an ailing hip operated on.
He has also been honest about his drug struggles throughout his career.
“I wish I’d never used drugs.” But, in the end, I wouldn’t be the person I am now if I hadn’t gotten sober,” he told CBS News in 2019. He claimed to have been clean for about three decades at the time.
