Afrobeat Star Davido’s 3-Year-Old Son Drowned in Pool

According to reports, the little son of Nigerian superstar Davido was discovered dead in the home pool. Davido was a household name in Nigeria.

It has been stated that Davido’s kid, who was just three years old at the time, was found dead in the swimming pool of the family home in Nigeria. This has led to the investigation of eight domestic staff.

It is believed that neither Davido, whose actual name is David Adeleke, nor his companion Chioma Rowland were there at their residence in Banana Island, Lagos, when Ifeanyi passed away. Davido’s real name is David Adeleke.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the public affairs officer for the local police department, stated to the reporters that the department is attempting to obtain statements from the eight domestic employees who were on duty at the time of the drowning.

“It has been verified that Ifeanyi has passed away. “His (Davido’s) domestic staff have been brought in for interrogation, and anybody found not liable will be allowed to go immediately,” Hundeyin told a local news site called Punch. “Anyone found not culpable will be allowed to go immediately.” “Roughly eight of them were called in to tell their version of what transpired in order to help us obtain a better understanding of what actually took place.”

On October 20, the singer, who is now 29 years old, sent a heartfelt message on social media on Ifeanyi’s third birthday. The lyrics read, “I wish with all of my heart that God provides you perfect health and pure pleasure for as long as it is humanly possible,” and the letter was signed by the artist. “On your birthday, son, I look forward to the day when you surpass Me in stature.”

Davido, best known for his songs “If” and “Fall,” has worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, and he has been honoured with a number of prestigious honours on a global scale, including prizes at the MTV and BET music awards. He shares parental duties with two other daughters with two different ladies.

Davido, who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, joined Sony Music in 2016 after signing a recording contract with the company. After that, he established his own record company and is now widely regarded as one of the most successful Afropop worldwide performers. Afropop is a kind of music that fuses traditional African music with modern pop music.
