According to sources, Eric Gordon has decided to join the Phoenix Suns.

Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first to report on Sunday that the Phoenix Suns and seasoned guard Eric Gordon had reached an agreement on a deal.
The Los Angeles Clippers failed not guarantee Gordon’s $21 million deal before free agency, therefore he became an unrestricted free agent.

He and the Suns reached an agreement on a two-year contract with a player option, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
After Drew Eubanks, Josh Okogie, Damion Lee, Chimezie Metu, Keita Bates-Diop, and Yuta Watanabe, the 34-year-old is the sixth reportedly unrestricted free agent to join with Phoenix since Friday.
Gordon ultimately signs with the Suns after first signing a four-year offer sheet with Phoenix in 2012. However, the New Orleans Hornets matched that offer and kept Gordon as a player.
The supporting cast that surrounds Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal gains another long-range threat and playmaking option with his addition.
Gordon began playing in the league in 2008-09 with the Clippers and has spent the last 15 years with three different organisations. The Houston Rockets sent him back to Los Angeles at the most recent trade deadline, and he assumed a significant role going into the playoff series against the Suns.
Gordon played 22 regular-season games with the Clippers, shooting 42.3% from outside the arc while averaging 11 points and 2.1 assists while assisting Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
In the five-game series against the Suns, he averaged 10.2 points per game while shooting 34.5% from outside the arc.
The guard averages 16 points per game while shooting threes at a career rate of 37.1%. He was Houston’s Sixth Man of the Year for the 2016–17 season.
The most accomplished reserve in Phoenix, Gordon will have the option of making a start or having an effect off the bench.
The Suns had nine players under contract when the free agency period started on Friday: Booker, Beal, Durant, Deandre Ayton, Cam Payne, Jordan Goodwin, Ish Wainright, Isaiah Todd, and Toumani Camara.
Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports that Gordon choose Phoenix over the Golden State Warriors and Rockets.
