Aaron Taylor-Johnson conjecture has rattled and fueled rumors about the “next James Bond.”

After the British newspaper “The Sun” reported that 33-year-old British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson had been given the part of 007, rumors about the next James Bond were rattled and stirred.
According to The Sun, which quoted an unidentified source, “Aaron’s job is to work for Bond, should he want to accept it. They have placed the official offer on the table and are awaiting a response.

Eon Productions and Taylor-Johnson’s team have been contacted by CNN for comments.
The Taylor-Johnson speculations follow years of conjecture over the next great James Bond, after Daniel Craig’s retirement in 2021’s “No Time to Die.”
CNN is informed by an insider that Johnson has not been selected to play James Bond.
Additionally, according to a “production insider” quoted by BBC News, there is no reality to the stories about Taylor-Johnson’s appointment.
According to IMDB, Taylor-Johnson, 33, first became well-known as an actress after appearing in the 2008 adolescent comedy “Angus, Thongs, and the Perfect Snogging.” Following his debut in 2010’s “Kickass,” he went on to even greater success.
He was directed by fashion designer Tom Ford in the 2016 neo-noir film “Nocturnal Animals,” for which he received a 2017 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.
Other actors that have been considered for the part include Irish actor Cillian Murphy, the recent winner of the Oscar for Best Actor, and British actor Henry Cavill.
Pierce Brosnan, a former James Bond, even gave Murphy the thumbs up lately. Brosnan told the BBC that Cillian “would do a magnificent job as James Bond on His Majesty’s Secret Service.”
Idris Elba has long been linked to the role of the first black James Bond; the actor has expressed his gratitude for the long-running rumors that he was a candidate.
While acknowledging that some people weren’t thrilled that he was being considered, he stated he was flattered.
Elba said on the “Smartless” Podcast in 2023, “Those that weren’t happy about the idea made the whole thing disgusting and off-putting because it became about race.” “Dude, it turned into nonsense, and I took the brunt of it.”
It’s unknown when the next installment in the illustrious sixty-plus-year series will go into production or when an official announcement will be made.
“There will always be a Bond,” Eon Productions’ Michael G. Wilson, the producer of the James Bond film, said to Deadline last year.
