Queen Elizabeth funeral took place in United Kingdom in the presence of intense international attention. The Queen’s Coffin will be transferred to Windsor Castle for a committal service. The coffin will be buried alongside her late husband Prince Phillip.
Queen Elizabeth was the first British sovereign to celebrate her platinum jubilee. She ruled for around 70 years and 214 days. King Charles III was seen dressed in a ceremonial military uniform along with his 3 siblings. Queen died on 8 September 2022.
The funeral service was attended by around 2000 guests. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Camilla arrived together for the funeral service with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Kate was seen wearing Queen’s pearl-string necklace. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also attended the funeral on 19 September 2022. Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi also paid their tribute to the Queen Elizabeth II.
